Visiting Philip Hall

Philip Hall is situated at the North East corner of the City of Ripon in North Yorkshire.

Directions from the A1

Exit the A1 at the junction for the A61 (signposted Ripon and Thirsk) and take a bearing towards Ripon.

Follow the A61 for 3.5 miles and take the last exit on the first roundabout and the first exit on the second rounabout, heading on North Road/A6108.

Continue down this road until you reach the one-way system around the Market Square. Car parking is available on the Market Square as well as around the City.

Directions from Harrogate

Exit Harrogate on the A61 towards Ripon. Follow the A61 for 9 miles, take the first exit on the first roundabout, joining Harrogate Road.

Continue on this road, at the end of the road bear left onto Low Skellgate and continue straight ahead through the next traffic lights.

Take the next right and then bear left onto the Market Square. Car parking is available on the Market Square as well as around the City.

By Bus

Philip Hall is a short walk from the Bus Station. Walk towards the Market Square on Moss Arcade, cross the road and take a right walking away from the Market Square. Philip Hall should soon become visible as the road joins Fishergate.

By Rail

The nearest railway stations to Ripon are Thirsk and Harrogate both with frequent connecting trains from Leeds and York.
